VEDO
Waist portable transmitter
VEDO is ELCA’s new-generation waist portable radio control.
Its high degree of configurability allows many types of actuators to be installed in 3 different positions: “on-top” controls, controls on two levels, and side controls.
It features a magnetic “CONTACTLESS” hardware key (PIN ID available), programmable CanOpen, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and PROFIBUS outputs, and 4 digital feedback inputs.
General Safe Stop (GSS) – up to PLe cat.3 EN ISO 13849-1 (BRAVO electronics), easy to reach and activate when needed.
Replaceable Lithium battery positioned at the bottom of the control station (made of orange-and-black ABS).
New option: graphic DISPLAY with CODESYS (IEC 61131-3 compliant).
The perimeter guard prevents accidental activation of the controls and provides a comfortable hand rest during operation.
VEDO is used to control machinery for lifting and handling materials, objects, and loads in general (overhead cranes, lifting cranes, etc.).

Compatible receiving units
The receiving unit is an integral part of the radio remote control system. Connected to the electrical panel of the machine being controlled, it is activated by a Start command from the transmitter and is then ready to receive commands.
