Analytics and form protection supplement – 6 October 2026

This section supplements the attached documents and describes the current Google Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile configuration on www.elcaradio.com. The details below apply to these services; the PDFs retain their own revision date and do not include this supplement.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to measure and improve website use. They are activated only after optional consent to statistical cookies (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Without consent these tools are not loaded; refusal does not prevent browsing or submitting forms.

Processing covers pseudonymous identifiers, browser/device technical data, pages viewed, language, referral information and interactions: contact clicks, PDF downloads and successful form submissions. Your IP address is transmitted when connecting to Google. The site does not add form text, names, email addresses, telephone numbers or attachments to analytics events. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled in our configuration.

GA4 retention is set to 2 months for event data and 14 months for user data, with the user-data period reset upon new activity. These limits do not apply to most aggregated statistical reports.

Cookies and changing your preferences

The first-party technical cookie elca_cookie_consent stores preferences for 6 months. After statistical consent, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies _ga (distinguishing visitors) and _ga_6WE51H7TXC (session state): default lifetime 2 years, renewed on visits; your browser may impose a shorter lifetime.

You may change or withdraw consent using the link below by disabling statistical cookies and saving your preferences. Withdrawal stops subsequent collection and removes Analytics cookies managed by the site, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Contact, job application and configurator forms use Turnstile by Cloudflare, Inc. to combat spam and automated submissions. It activates when you interact with a form, independently of statistical consent. It processes technical signals such as IP address, connection and browser characteristics, and request origin. Our integration does not send field contents or attachments to Turnstile.

For ELCA the purpose is form security, based on the legitimate interest in preventing abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), not visitor analytics or advertising. Cloudflare acts as a processor to protect the site and as an independent controller to improve bot detection, as explained in its notice. Successful verification is required to submit a form; alternatively, use the details on the Contact page.

Providers and international processing

Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. The linked notices explain roles, retention and transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where applicable. Contact the controller for information about safeguards applied to ELCA’s processing.

This statement applies to the website www.elcaradio.com.

Compliance status

The new ELCA website was developed with careful attention to WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. Following the launch of the new website, the comprehensive assessment is being updated; this statement should therefore be considered provisional until the technical and manual evaluation has been completed.

Automated checks performed on sample pages of the new website found no blocking violations after the corrective measures were implemented.

Available accessibility features

Main and mobile navigation with dedicated ARIA attributes.
Alternative text for informative images, with decorative images excluded from assistive reading.
Visible focus indicators for links, buttons, form fields, and interactive controls.
Keyboard-navigation compatibility for menus, filters, carousels, and modal windows.
Reduced animations for users who select reduced-motion preferences.
Color contrasts reviewed on sample pages of the new website.

Known technical limitations

Third-party content and services, including video players, maps, the external store, and the Business Partners area, may have accessibility levels that depend on their respective providers.
PDF documents published before June 28, 2025 and not subsequently modified may not be fully accessible.
Some manual checks using assistive technologies have yet to be completed on the new website.

Assessment methodology

The assessment of the new website is in progress and includes automated tools and manual checks. Initial automated checks were performed using axe-core on the following sample pages:
